Hitler was born April 20, 1889. He was an Austrian-German politician and he lead the Nazi Party. He was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and was also a dictator. Hitler was a highly admired veteran of World War I because of his awards and achievements during that time. He became a part of the German Workers Party in 1919. In 1923, in Hitler was sent to jail. Once he got out, he became known even more through when he attacked the Treaty of Versailles.The Treaty of Versailles was not in favor of the Germans. The treaty said that they the Germans had to pay for all the war debts so Hitler took a stand. Eventually, Hitler's Nazi Party later soon became the largest democratically elected party in the Germany. Because of this he was elected chancellor.
